CubiCaller

CubiCaller

Ask any one of the estimated 40 million cubicle dwellers in the US and countless others around the world how visitors get their attention in the cubicle.

You’ll hear stories about loud knocking, feet shuffling, and the ever popular hovering until detected!

The Cubicaller was invented by cube dweller Mike Mussoline to solve this problem in a fun and practical way.

The Cubicaller comes with double-sided self-adhesive velcro. Simply peel off the protective plastic to expose the adhesive and attach it to any convenient surface on your cubicle entrance.

The “selector pushbutton” allows you to choose from 12 different sounds, from a cat meow to a Klaxon horn. A 3-position switch allows you to set the appropriate volume level. The main doorbell pushbutton will be pressed by visitors and plays back the sound that you have chosen.

Mussoline sells the product from his CubiCaller.com web site for US $12.

GadgeTell:

The K770 is very thin, measuring in at 14mm thick - or less than 9/16 of an inch. The Sony Ericsson marketing team is keying in on the camera, a 3.2 megapixel shooter.

The camera actually has some nice things going on. For starters, it has an LED photo light (flash) and “active integrated? lens cover. Then they move on to Photo Fix, an image editing app on the phone for PC-free editing. Then they wrap it up with PictBridge (for more PC-Free adventures in printing).

USB Mix Tape

August 13, 2007 by Rich | 0 Comments

TechnaBob:

For those of us who were born in the pre-MP3 era, the idea of creating a custom mix of your favorite tunes and putting them on a cassette tape was one of the most romantic things that you could do for your significant other.

The oh-so-clever designers over at Suck UK have put together this kit that lets you make a modern version of the mix tape.

Packaged in a container that looks like a classic cassette tape, the USB Mix Tape actually contains a USB drive that you can load your special playlist of tunes onto. They’ve also included one of those ruled cards that comes with blank cassettes for you to jot down your playlist.

It should be available this September.
