The brilliant minds of industrial design firm Sonic Design came up with this design for an iPod-inspired bottle opener called the iDrink.
In keeping with Apple’s DRM (Drinker’s Rights Management) policies, the iDrink opener will only open bottles which have been purchased from the iDrink store (99 cents each). In addition, the opener features a built-in battery pack that can only be changed by the manufacturer.

Inflight USB Power Unit
September 7, 2007 by Rich | 0 Comments
The Inflight USB Power Unit connects directly to the headphone jack found in the armrests of most commercial airplane seats and passes power to your gadgets via a USB connection.
It would be convenient as hell to have outlets at every seat instead of headphone jacks, but now you can get the best of both worlds.
The unit won’t power anything as big as your laptop, but should be able to supply a charge to any device that natively supports USB charging (like your iPod, cell phone, or PSP).

Black Black by Lotte is the powerfully caffeinated gum and candy sensation from Japan. Made famous in the U.S. by Wired Magazine, Black Black also contains Vitamin B-3, ginseng and oolong tea.
In Japan the Black Black commercials feature none other than Jean-Claude Van Damme performing his wild gymnastical kung foo stylings.

Loc8tor Plus
September 5, 2007 by Rich | 0 Comments
To help keep things from being lost or stolen, attach mini “homing” tags (3 included) to elusive objects that seem to wander off by themselves - keys, glass cases, favorite toys, mobiles, remotes, purses, even pets!
In “Locate” mode, if a tagged item is misplaced, the base unit with directional display will guide you toward it and trigger beeps and flashing lights.
The radio range is huge - 600 feet! “Alert” mode helps keep things from getting lost or stolen in the first place.
Set a range for each tag - a kind of electronic fence - and if your briefcase, pet, child or other tagged thing crosses the safe zone, you’ll be alerted immediately.

Proporta Magnetic Dashboard
August 30, 2007 by Rich | 0 Comments
Here’s a useful tool! Imagine sticking your mobile phone to your dashboard surface without worries of it falling off at the mere acceleration of your car.
Here’s how it works. Tough 3M adhesives at the back of this Proporta Magnetic Dashboard mount causes it to attach to your dashboard, which in turn secures your gadgets safely using a small, subtle magnetic pad.
This is good for a small, effective hands free magnetic phone car kit. It’s accessible, it’ll match any car interior and best of all, the sleek silver body doesn’t look dated. Even though strong magnets are used in this device, it won’t affect your PDAs, smartphones, iPod Nano/Shuffle or other devices that uses flash memory.

Fly Pod
August 29, 2007 by Rich | 0 Comments
Unlike most electric fly traps, Fly Pod isn’t at all industrial looking, and instead, is silent, neat, hygienic and discreet - making it ideal for use in the home.
The flies’ fascination with the light is their undoing; the soft glow lures them in, and they wing their way to a very sticky end.
The glue board pulls out from the back, folding as it does, so you don’t come into contact with the bugs, or even have to look at them!
